Chimney Firebox Rebuilding

The firebox is the part of the fireplace where the wood is placed in order to make a fire. If the firebox has cracked bricks or deteriorating mortar joints, it needs to be rebuilt with new fire bricks and high temperature refractory mortar; thereby restoring the structural integrity. Chimney Cricket masons can rebuild your firebox to a look and function as though it were new.
Chimney Waterproofing

A breathable chimney waterproofing substance is sprayed on the
exterior of the chimney or any other masonry surface to stop
water damage.
WATER DAMAGE CAN BE PREVENTED (PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT)
Chimneys are highly exposed to the elements and, if left
unprotected, are susceptible to structural deterioration. It
is important to address this problem before serious damage
occurs. This estimate can be left on any job and should. Do
not apply to paint surfaces.
Chimney Cricket uses Chimsaver waterproofing. This waterproofer is the top of the line water proofing system you
simply spray it on with a pump sprayer
Tuckpointing

Here mortar joints being ground out to depth of approximately
10mm in preparation for re-pointing. Top vertical joints are
called head joints and horizontal joint called bed joints.
